Can You Use Thermal Paper in a Regular Printer?
Technically, you can insert thermal paper into a regular inkjet or laser printer, but it is not recommended.
Why It’s Not Recommended
- Inkjet Printers: Thermal paper is not designed to absorb liquid ink, leading to smearing or poor adhesion.
- Laser Printers: The heat from laser printing can damage thermal paper and cause it to darken or even jam the printer.
Best Practice
Use standard printing paper for regular printers and reserve thermal paper for thermal printers only.
