What Is CIJ Printing?

CIJ printing, or Continuous Inkjet printing, is a non-contact technology used to mark products with text, dates, barcodes, and graphics on fast-moving production lines.

How CIJ Printing Works

  • Ink is pumped under pressure through a tiny nozzle.
  • A vibrating crystal breaks the ink into droplets.
  • Electrically charged droplets are deflected to form characters on the material.
  • Unused ink droplets are recycled back into the system.

Advantages of CIJ

  • High-speed printing (even on moving surfaces)
  • Suitable for various materials: plastic, glass, metal, paper
  • Continuous operation with minimal downtime

CIJ is ideal for industries like beverage, food packaging, electronics, and pharmaceuticals.
